My parents came to Berlin before the fall of the Berlin Wall, hoping for a better life in Germany.At home, I saw how challenging it can be to learn German as an adult
— especially when the language is needed for everyday life, work, and feeling at home.I was lucky to learn German naturally as a child.My parents, however, had to learn it through courses and teachers —just like you might be doing now.Over the years, I have taught more than 7,000 lessons, working with learners at very different stages:from beginners and literacy courses to grammar, conversation classes and intensive programs.I also supported and mentored new German teachers.My teaching style is calm, structured and personal.We focus on real communication, clear explanations and your individual pace.

Meine Eltern kamen kurz vor dem Mauerfall nach Berlin – mit der Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben in Deutschland.
Zu Hause habe ich früh erlebt, wie herausfordernd es sein kann, Deutsch als Erwachsene*r zu lernen, besonders wenn die Sprache im Alltag, im Beruf und für das Ankommen in einem neuen Land gebraucht wird.
Ich hatte das Glück, Deutsch spielerisch im Kindergarten zu lernen.
Meine Eltern hingegen lernten die Sprache später – mithilfe von Kursen und Lehrkräften, so wie du vielleicht auch gerade.
Inzwischen habe ich mehr als 7.000 Unterrichtseinheiten gegeben und mit Lernenden auf ganz unterschiedlichen Niveaus gearbeitet:
von Anfängerkursen und Alphabetisierung über Grammatik- und Konversationskurse bis hin zu Intensivprogrammen.
Zusätzlich habe ich neue Lehrkräfte begleitet und mentoriert.
Ich bin zertifizierte DaF-Lehrerin und unterrichte Deutsch als Fremdsprache mit einem ruhigen, strukturierten und persönlichen Ansatz.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen echte Kommunikation, klare Erklärungen und dein individuelles Lerntempo.

No. You do not need to know any German or English. Lessons are conducted entirely in German, step by step, at your own pace.
Where do the lessons take place?
All lessons are online. You can join from anywhere with an internet connection.
How do I pay?
The trial lesson is paid in advance via PayPal.
Payment for regular lessons is discussed personally after the trial session.
